  1. 1Day 1 Torino

    Meals included: dinner

    Meeting of the participants in Turin, starting at Piazza Castello, in front of the Teatro Regio: a walking tour of the city center. From Piazza Castello, you will see the facade of ancient Baroque buildings, including Palazzo Madama, where we will visit the medieval courtyard with its sparkling grand staircase. Next, we will see the Royal Palace, the seat of central power, which includes Palazzo Chiablese, the Armory, and the Royal Library. We will view the Cathedral of San Giovanni, overlooking the Taurinense archaeological area (Palatine Gates and ancient theater). The tour will also include a visit to the Church of San Lorenzo, the royal chapel of the Savoy, considered one of the three hundred most beautiful churches in the world. We will then proceed to Palazzo Carignano, with its stunning undulating facade, dominating one of the city’s most elegant squares. Time for free lunch. In the afternoon, visit at the Egyptian Museum, the second most important collection of Egyptian artifacts in the world after Cairo. In the museum, we will admire mummies, statues, vials, precious items, and everyday objects from Deir el-Medina. Check in at the hotel, dinner, and overnight stay.

  2. 2Day 2 Alba / Fortezza di Serralunga

    Meals included: breakfast, lunch, dinner

    Breakfast at the hotel and departure for a scenic tour in the Langhe region. Visit to the fortress of Serralunga d’Alba, located in the heart of Barolo wine country. Lunch at a restaurant featuring traditional Langhe cuisine. In the afternoon, arrival in Alba. The streets, which follow the polygonal layout of ancient walls, enclose a compact medieval center filled with towers and tower-houses, along with Romanesque-Gothic and Baroque monuments with Lombard influences. The town is situated at the confluence of the Cherasca stream and the Tanaro River, where the vineyard-covered hills of the lower Langhe gently slope. Known by gourmets for its renowned wines, white truffles, and peaches, Alba has seen industrial growth in recent decades. Highlights to visit include the Cathedral, St. John the Baptist, St. Dominic, and the Civic Museum. Return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

  3. 3Day 3 Asti / Monferrato / Barbera Lands

    Meals included: breakfast, lunch, dinner

    Begin your day with breakfast at the hotel, then depart for a visit to Asti, the birthplace of Vittorio Alfieri. Explore the city’s key sites including the Cathedral and the Collegiate Church of St. Secondo. Enjoy a lunch featuring traditional Monferrato cuisine. In the afternoon, tour a local distillery and sample some of the finest grappas from Asti. Afterwards, take a scenic drive through the rolling hills of the Barbera wine region. Return to the hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.

  4. 4Day 4 Torino / Reggia di Venaria

    Meals included: breakfast

    After breakfast at the hotel, depart for Venaria to enjoy a guided tour of the Reggia di Venaria Reale, an immense palace where royalty once engaged in hunting, wellness, and leisure. The Reggia exemplifies Baroque taste for the arts, the patrons’ attention to beauty, and their ambition to position Turin and Piedmont among Europe’s foremost cities. Afterwards, take time to walk in the Italian gardens. Free lunch.
