1Day 1 Milano
Meals included: dinner
Meet the guide in Milan and start a panoramic tour of the city’s newly redeveloped districts. Begin in the old and historic “Isola” neighborhood, move on to the new Porta Nuova district, continue through Porta Garibaldi, and pass by the Monumental Cemetery, ending in CityLife. Free time for lunch. In the afternoon, take a walking tour of the city’s historic center, including the Duomo and its namesake square, which is flanked by the Royal Palace, the Arengario, and Galleria Vittorio Emanuele. Proceed to Piazza della Scala, where the famous theater is on the left and Palazzo Marino, the city hall, is on the right. Continue through the city center’s streets to reach the Sforza Castle. At the end of the day, check in to the hotel. Dinner and overnight stay.

2Day 2 Milano
Meals included: breakfast, dinner
Breakfast at the hotel. Meet with the guide and continue the city tour: visit the Basilica of Sant’Ambrogio, the Basilica of San Lorenzo Maggiore, and the Basilica of Sant’Eustorgio. Then head to the Navigli district, and from there, return to the city center by coach, stopping at the Church of Santa Maria delle Grazie. Upon prior request, it will be possible to book a visit to the Last Supper (additional fee required). Lunch on your own. Afternoon at leisure with the option to visit one of the city’s famous museums: the Brera Art Gallery, the Poldi Pezzoli Museum, the Museo del Novecento, the Ambrosiana Art Gallery, the Leonardo da Vinci National Museum of Science and Technology, the Diocesan Museum, or the Duomo Museum. Return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

3Day 3 Como
Meals included: breakfast, dinner
Breakfast at the hotel. Departure for Como. Upon arrival, meet the guide and start the tour: visit the Church of Sant’Abbondio, the city walls, San Fedele, the Duomo, the Broletto, and the lakeside promenade. A scenic walk along the western shore of the Como bay concludes the city tour. Free time for lunch. In the afternoon, take a boat tour of the first basin with the option for intermediate stops. Return to Milan in the evening. Dinner and overnight stay.

4Day 4 Milano
Meals included: breakfast
Breakfast at the hotel. Meet with a guide from the “Gatti Spiazzati” association for a unique tour of the city. The tour is titled “Up and Down on Tram 33 from Porta Venezia, Lazzaretto to Isola.” Starting at Porta Venezia, enjoy a walk among the Liberty-style houses and the remnants of the historic Lazzaretto. The tram ride will take you through and allow you to observe northern Milan (Lazzaretto, Monumentale, Scalo Farini…) until you reach the Incoronata lock, where Leonardo da Vinci spent days studying water flows and locks. You will also see Milan’s first railway station, the economic kitchens, and learn why restaurants are referred to as “Coperti.” At Gae Aulenti Square, get an overview and hear from a “wise cat” about the area’s evolution from 1960 to today, in a 240-degree perspective. There will also be a stop at a 2020 Stolperstein for Frieda Lehmann. Lunch on your own. Free time until the transfer to the station or airport.

DOCUMENTS REQUIRED
You will need a valid Passport to enter in the country. Italy require that your passport is valid for at least six months from your date of entry. No refund will be considered valid to those in possession of a non-original or expired document.
ADVANCES AND SALE
When you book a tour, a 25% deposit and insurance is requested ( the payments will be accepted in the form of money order or credit card ). Sold must be paid, at least 30 days before departure. Travel documents will be delivered only after sold payment. PLEASE NOTE: for those who book online, only one credit card payment is required
TRAVEL INSURANCE
Please be informed that flights are not included in our travel packages. Therefore, transportation to Italy must be arranged independently. Consequently, no insurance coverage is provided by us for flight cancellations, delays, or loss/damage of personal baggage during the transit. Clients are advised to seek assistance directly from the airline or the respective agency they have engaged with.
Duomo Viaggi & Turismo has stipulated a travel insurance with AXA insurance (policy No. 28436) providing assistance for medical expenses in travel. The maximum rates for medical travel expenses are: Italy € 1,000 / Europe € 50,000 / Rest of the world including the Russian Federation € 50,000. CANCELLATION POLICY
Applied percentages:
– 10% penalty on the individual participation fee from the registration up to 45 working days ** before departure;
– 30% penalty on the individual participation fee from 44 to 30 working days ** before departure;
– 50% penalty on the individual participation fee from 29 to 20 working days ** before departure;
– 75% penalty on the individual participation fee from 19 to 15 working days ** before departure;
– 100% penalty on the individual participation fee from 14 working days ** before departure.
Penalty of 100% of the individual participation fee is also up to traveler who can’t undertake the journey for an irregularity of expected personal expatriation documents and also for the traveler who decides to interrupt the journey or stay already undertaken.

CLOTHING: we recommend a clothing according to the season of travel, comfortable shoes for daily visits, a sunglasses and a small umbrella.
HEALTH STANDARDS: we recommend to get yourself some essential medicines. A person who has ongoing therapies with medicines brings sufficient quantities for the duration of the tour
