1Day 1 Ravenna
Meals included: dinner
In the afternoon, meet with the guide and begin the tour of the city, once the capital of the Western Roman Empire, where the beautiful mosaics tell the story of the Empire, the Barbarians, and the sea: Visit the San Vitale complex.
At the end of the tour, transfer to the hotel and check in to the reserved room.

2Day 2 Ravenna

Breakfast. Full day guided tour of the city of Ravenna, one of the most beautiful and well-known cities in the world; the second largest in Italy after Rome in terms of municipal territorial extension. An ancient seaport that silted up with the sediment of its rivers, Ravenna now uses a very active artificial canal for access to the Adriatic Sea. Its history dates back to Roman times: the port connected it to the East through numerous imperial trade routes. During the Byzantine Empire, the city was enriched with immense monuments from that era, adorned with splendid mosaics that characterize it worldwide. Visit the Mausoleum of Galla Placidia, the Neonian Baptistery, the Archiepiscopal Museum, Sant’Apollinare Nuovo, and Dante’s tomb.
Free time for lunch. In the afternoon, conclude the visits with the abbey complex of Sant’Apollinare in Classe: consecrated in 549 and the best example of early Christian architecture in Italy, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Continue and visit the Church of San Giovanni Evangelista, consecrated between 425 and 437, one of the oldest churches that preserves the original bells heard by the great poet Dante. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel. -
3Day 3 Ravenna / Ferrara / Ravenna

Breakfast. Departure from the hotel in Ravenna towards the city of Ferrara. Guided tour of the city. Located in the low Emilian plain, the city rises on the banks of the Po di Volano. Its importance began in the late Middle Ages and especially during the Renaissance under the rule of the Este family, transforming it into a European-level artistic center. A UNESCO World Heritage site, Ferrara is one of the four provincial capitals, along with Bergamo, Lucca, and Grosseto, whose historic center has remained almost completely surrounded by walls that have maintained their original appearance over the centuries. Visit the Castle, the Cathedral and its Museum, passing by the Palazzo dei Diamanti and the characteristic streets with artisan shops. Free lunch. In the afternoon, departure by private coach to Ravenna.
